Lord Jesus Christ, You called Saint Charbel from the simplicity of village life to the silence of the monastery. There he devoted his entire life to prayer, sacrifice and love for You. Filled with the Holy Spirit, Saint Charbel became a faithful servant of the Holy Eucharist and a channel of Your healing grace.

As we gather in this chapel dedicated in his honour, open our hearts to Your Presence. Teach us to seek You above all things and to find peace in silence. Help us to trust You completely and to live each day according to Your Holy Will.

May the prayers of Saint Charbel strengthen our faith, heal our wounds, and draw us ever closer to You.

Reflection

Saint Charbel spent much of his life hidden from the world. He sought no recognition, no riches and no honour. His greatest desire was simply to belong completely to Christ.

Through a life of prayer, fasting, humility and devotion to the Holy Eucharist, Saint Charbel became a living witness to God's love. Even after his death, countless people have experienced healing of body, mind and spirit through his intercession.

Saint Charbel reminds us that true holiness is often found in silence. God speaks most clearly to hearts that are willing to listen. Every prayer offered with faith, every hidden sacrifice, every act of love offered to God becomes a source of grace for the whole world.

Like Saint Charbel, we are invited to trust completely in God's Providence and to allow Christ to transform our lives.

"Saint Charbel, faithful servant of God and beloved friend of Jesus Christ, we ask for your prayers before the Lord.

Intercede for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit. Pray for those who are burdened by illness, anxiety, loneliness or grief. May the healing Power of Christ restore hope where there is despair, peace where there is fear, and grant strength where there is weakness.

Help us to accept God's Will with trust, knowing that His Love never abandons His children.
